Dark purple from core to fringe. Expressive nose of blackberries, plums and dark cherries with hints of dark chocolate. In the mouth were pomegranate, cranberries and vanilla flavours. Smooth tannins coupled with bright acidity gave a good mouthfeel. Felt a bit of liquorice and dried ginseng, i.e. bitterness, in the aftertaste. The finish was fairly long and interesting
